Biography

Eli Fennell, MA, has a Masters Degree in Experimental Psychology focusing on the EEG correlates of own- vs. other-race face perception, and is currently working on his Doctoral Dissertation on the dynamics of free will beliefs and moral norms, from Florida Atlantic University. His primary areas of focus are Dynamical Social Psychology and Evolutionary Psychology, especially in relation to free will beliefs and the psychology of religiosity, spirituality, and mysticism. He recently coauthored the chapter Rapid Social Change and the Emergence of Populism with Dr. Robin R. Vallacher for The Psychology of Populism: The Tribal Challenge to Liberal Democracy (Routledge, 2021). His primary interest in Parapsychology is the application of dynamical systems theory and evolutionary approaches to the study of Anomalous Cognitions and Anomalous Perturbations. He is currently looking for opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and funding in Parapsychological research.
