Biography

After graduating with B.Sc, ARCS in Chemistry from Imperial College, London, he carried out and published research on the motility of protozoans; followed by school-teaching until 2011. He began researching the Gauquelin data in 1977.Recently his interest has focused on the possible role of the 27-day solar rotation cycle in this phenomenon, and on evidence that can be found outside of the Gauquelin database. His research has been published in Correlation, as well as studies on astrological symbolism in the journal Semiotica. He translated the book: O Mundo da Astrologia from Portuguese (Sophia Centre Press, 2014).
